Professional English Communication Coaching

For people who want their English to reflect who they are: their ideas, personality, and experience.

Professional English Communication Coaching

For people who want their English to reflect who they are: their ideas, personality, and experience.

You already speak English well.

You can work, read, travel, and have conversations in it. You’re not looking for basic survival English, scripted small talk, or simple surface-level practice.

You want something more advanced than that.

You want English for the conversations where your intelligence, judgment, personality, and credibility need to come through.

You understand almost everything.

But you still feel slower, flatter, more careful, or less precise in English than you are in your own mind.

You know what you think, and then lose the clarity of it somewhere between thinking and saying.

You have strong opinions, and you soften them, because you can’t quite predict how they’ll come across.

Colourful abstract figure composed of intricate geometric patterns

You overprepare for meetings you could run in your sleep, in your own language.

You rehearse the sentence, and the moment passes while you’re still rehearsing.

And afterwards, someone says something you’d already thought (less well than you’d have said it) and everyone agrees.

Abstract figure surrounded by stars, a fingerprint and flowing hand-drawn lines

Imagine it’s a year from now.

You’re in a meeting, and you say the thing you mean - in the moment, clearly, and with confidence. You express the idea the way you intended. Not a simpler version. Not the better words you think of later at home.

You explain what your work is worth to a client who’s never heard of your field, and you watch them understand.

You make a joke. It’s not a translated joke. It’s just a joke, and they get it. The conversation moves on.

Hot air balloons floating above the rocky landscape of Cappadocia

You’re not sounding like a different version of what you meant to say. You’re finally sounding like yourself.

You’ve probably already tried the obvious things.

More vocabulary. Another course. Grammar apps. Podcasts on the commute. Reading more, watching more, listening more.

Practice more. Immerse yourself. It’ll come with time.

Some of it helped. None of it fixed the thing.

There’s an assumption running underneath all of it: that language is a container you fill. Learn enough words, absorb enough grammar, and one day the container is full and you sound like yourself.

So when it doesn’t work, when you have the words and still can’t find them at the moment you need them, there’s only one conclusion available to you. You haven’t worked hard enough. You need more.

You don’t need more. You are not short of English.

What you're missing isn't words. It's instinct.

You're in the meeting, and someone says something you don't agree with.

The instinct for which phrase fits this moment and not that one. For when directness will work and when it'll backfire. For how the tone shifts depending on who's in the room.

You can't look that up. It isn't in the vocabulary list, and no amount of grammar will hand it to you. Most language training never goes near it.

That's the work.

Not more input, the instinct, and the practice to make it yours.

In your own language you'd just say so.

In English, you're thinking: okay, what do I actually want to say, now how do I say that... wait, will that sound too direct?

By the time you've been round all three, they've moved on.

You didn't run out of words. You ran out of time, because you were doing three jobs while everyone else was doing one.

That's it. That's the whole thing. It was never that your English wasn't good enough.

I'm Christina, and this is exactly what I trained for.

Christina sitting at a café table

My Cambridge CELTA training gives me a strong foundation in effective English language teaching, from grammar and structure to accuracy and fluency. My neurolanguage coaching certification complements this with a brain-based approach that considers how people learn best, build confidence, retain information, and use a new language in real situations.

Because communicating in another language involves more than knowing the rules, I also consider the role of memory, emotion, identity, and self-trust. These factors shape how easily people can access and express what they already know, especially in the moments that matter.

I've lived, studied, and worked across seven languages and 12 countries, and coached over 500 people. I know what it is to be intelligent in one language and less available in another.

This isn't basic English tutoring, and it isn't English lessons. It's for people who already have the English and want to move beyond functional into fuller, more flexible expression.

Not performance English, or a mask.

English that can hold more of you.

What my clients are saying:

“Christina helped me handle important meetings and discussions with more confidence and clarity. I feel more comfortable speaking up and expressing my ideas in an international environment.”

“I noticed my progress during a work meeting when I was able to speak more naturally and express my ideas without overthinking.”

“I remember giving one of my first presentations and feeling confident speaking.”

"Christina's method is very practical and based on real conversations. She links it to my work, the news, or society, which makes it interesting and useful. It’s flexible and adapted to me"

Communication coaching is likely for you if:

You already hold real conversations in English, even imperfect ones.

You want English for moments that count; international work, global teams, client-facing conversations, presentations, leadership conversations, or complex discussions.

You’re tired of sounding like a simpler, more cautious person than you are.

You want your humor, your precision, and your actual opinions to sound like you in English.

You’d rather understand why your English feels out of reach under pressure than just practice more.

You want it for the meaningful relationships, and the intellectual, creative, or professional expression, that matter to you.

You don’t need every goal perfectly defined, part of the work is figuring out what kind of English the life you’re building actually needs.

You’re willing to stretch beyond what feels comfortable, even when you’re used to knowing what you’re doing.

It's probably not for you if:

You’re starting from beginner or survival English. This is for people who already speak well and want more of themselves to come through.

You want accent coaching. Your accent isn’t the problem, and I won’t treat it as one.

You want exam preparation. IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge - not my work, and I’d rather tell you now.

You want conversation practice where we chat pleasantly for an hour and hope fluency magically appears.

This is ten sessions and a real financial commitment. If the fee is out of reach right now, do ask as I keep a small number of sliding-scale places, and I’d rather have the conversation than have you rule yourself out.

How it works:

This work is designed to help you use English with more range, precision, and self-trust — so more of you arrives when you speak.

Clients often begin to:

Say the thing in the meeting, at the moment it matters, instead of perfecting it afterwards

Explain their expertise to someone outside their field, and watch it actually land

Disagree, push back, and negotiate without softening it into something they didn't mean

Handle the difficult conversation — the feedback, the pushback, the client who's unhappy — in real time

Lead a meeting, chair a discussion, or participate in the discussion instead of just keeping up in it

Notice the grammar patterns that were costing them credibility, and fix them for good

Speak with less translating-in-their-head, and find the words while they still need them

Find that their humor survives and comes across in English, too

The goal is not to sound native. It’s not about changing who you are, hiding your accent, or copying someone else’s way of speaking.

It’s to have all of your intelligence, personality, and judgment available to you - in English.

There's no blueprint for your life, but there is a shape to this work.

Ten sessions, one to one, built around real material and real conversations. Your actual presentation, your business positioning, a job interview, a client conversation, the conversation you've been putting off, an article you want to discuss, or a topic you can't yet express with the nuance you want.

Grammar comes up when it matters, which is often. But it's always connected to meaning, use, and expression.

The No Blueprint Method

1. Notice

We start by figuring out what's actually happening when your English stops working. Where you hesitate, what you avoid saying, when you settle for a short sentence instead of the bigger idea you had, and what changes when the conversation speeds up.

2. Untangle

Vocabulary, grammar, tone, timing, culture, pressure, and self-trust get tangled together. We pull the pieces apart so you can see what's actually a language issue, what's a communication issue, and what comes from the situation you're in — because more vocabulary won't solve a problem that's really about how to disagree with a senior colleague.

4. Practice

Then we put it into real situations. We rehearse conversations, test different responses, and change the pressure to see what happens when the other person doesn't follow the script. You take it into your day and try it, then we look at what came easily and what disappeared under pressure — which tells us whether to move on or stay here a while longer.

3. Rebuild

Then we build what the situation actually needs. Language that sounds more like you, a simpler way to say a complex idea, more than one way to handle the moment that keeps coming up, and the ability to stay calm enough to let the English you already have come through. Not a perfect script, but access to more of what you already know, when you need it.

This is reflective, but it is not vague. We use real conversations and materials to understand what is happening, build something more effective, test it in the world, and refine it when needed.

What's included:

A complimentary diagnostic session before we begin so we both know what we’re working with.

We look at what you can already do in English, where it feels limited, which situations matter most, and what kind of English you need for the life, work, and relationships you’re building.

10 private, 60-minute sessions over video call

Weekly, or more often if you’re working to a deadline

Between-session support by WhatsApp or email, with a response within one business day

Feedback on grammar, phrasing, structure, tone, precision, and on how your message actually landed

Practice built around real situations, real topics, and real communication goals
The option to continue afterwards, depending on availability

Ten sessions gives us enough repetition and real-world practice to move beyond insight into actual communication habits

Investment: $1,000

A limited number of sliding-scale places are available where the full fee isn’t accessible.

Next Steps

If this sounds like your situation, the next step is a 30-minute discovery call.

We talk, in English, about something that actually matters to you, not a test, not a level check. I listen to what’s working and what isn’t, and I tell you honestly what I think is in the way and whether I can help.

If I’m not the right person, I’ll say so. You’ll have learned something either way, and it will have cost you nothing. It’s not a coaching session, and we won’t solve the whole thing in half an hour. It’s just how we find out whether we should work together.

Not sure this is the right service?

Tired of translating yourself, across languages and cultures at work or in your personal life, and calling it normal? Try this five-minute quiz, a rough sketch of what's actually going on.

If it turns out your English is tangled up with a move, a return home, or a bigger question about where you belong, the answer may be The No Blueprint Intensive rather than this.

Not ready to commit to ten sessions?

Start with a No Blueprint Mapping Session. 90 minutes to work out what’s actually getting in the way before you decide anything.

You’ll leave with a clear read on what’s language, what’s confidence, and what’s something else entirely, and a real sense of what would help.

$225 · 90 minutes

It’s the first piece of the coaching work, sold on its own. So if you go on to book the ten sessions, the full $225 comes off the price. Nothing is wasted either way.

In case you're wondering...

I’m already fluent in English. Is this still relevant?

Yes, if fluency isn’t solving the actual problem. You may be fluent and still over-prepare before meetings, sound more careful than you are, lose your edge in conflict, or feel like your mind is ahead of your mouth. If you can speak English but don’t fully feel like yourself in it, this work can help.

What if my English isn’t "perfect"?

You don’t need perfect English. You do need enough English for us to have a real conversation, even if it’s slow, messy, or imperfect. If you want grammar correction only, I’m probably not the right person. If you want English that helps you think, speak, work, and relate more clearly across cultures, that’s much closer.

How is this different from a language course, or from business English?

A language course usually starts with the language. This starts with your real situations — the meeting, the presentation, the negotiation, the client conversation, the email that has to be clear but careful, the moment you need to disagree or hold your ground. We work on phrasing, tone, grammar, structure, nuance, and directness, but always inside something that actually matters to you. Many of my clients already use English every day. They understand almost everything, and still, when the moment counts, something doesn't come through the way they wanted. That's what we work on. It isn't "business English" as a fixed curriculum either. Your work, your role, your ideas, and your real conversations shape the sessions.

Do you work on pronunciation?

No, not as a focus. This is not accent or pronunciation coaching. We focus on communication: what you mean, how clearly it comes through, how your language works under pressure, and how to sound more like yourself in English. Of course, if your pronunciation is getting in the way of clear communication, we will work on it.

Will you correct my mistakes?

Yes, but not in a way that makes you afraid to speak. I don’t interrupt every sentence. That usually makes people more careful, not more fluent. I listen for patterns. Then we look at what is getting in the way and work on it clearly. A mistake is information. It shows us where to focus next.

Can coaching really change how I sound under pressure?

Yes, and that is exactly the point. Pressure is where your language can become less available, so we work there too: with the real meeting, the real client, and the real difficult conversation. Knowing what to say in a calm moment is easy. Being able to find your words when it matters is the skill we build together.

Can my employer pay for the program?

Yes. Employer-sponsored coaching is welcome. I can provide a professional invoice and a clear description of the program, objectives, and expected areas of development for your employer or learning and development team.

The hardest part isn't the English.

It's letting yourself be less than fluent in front of someone, on purpose, when you're used to being the sharp one, the capable one, the one who has it handled.

That's the real work. Not the grammar. The willingness to be a beginner for a while.

But you won't be doing it in front of a stranger with a checklist. You'll be doing it with someone who knows exactly what it is to be quick in one language and careful in another, and who's far more interested in what you're trying to say than in catching what you get wrong.

You already have the English. This is about connecting your language skills with the person you already are.
